It has been approximately nine months since the introduction of the new POK nozzle with the QUICK STIK TECHNOLOGY (QST) and customers from coast to coast acknowledged the pure benefit of this great state of the art new technology.
Named product of the year in Nevada and now in Oregon!

Finally, a water enhancement system that speeds up the operation time on the ground, a major reduction of water consumption and the reduction of subsequent damages are just the tips of the iceberg that we have created.
A program that was initiated about 4 years ago in Europe was called the ‘’AQUA ECO” Water for Life/L’eau pour la Vie has evolved rapidly in popularity in the European country. POK was working in close collaboration with the company PYROCOM to develop numerous new appliances that would incorporate those new cartridges of a wetting agent (ECO) initially.
Since then, PYROCOM has intoduced two new cartridges, an AFFF/AR extinguishing solution, (TURBO) and a cleaning agent
(CLEAN). PYROCOM R&D is still working around the clock to introduce many more types and water enhancement cartridges
such as a decontamination solution under the Homeland Security program. POK representatives and dealers are performing
demonstrations on a daily basis and results are just outstanding! On one extremely severe test at a refinery training bunker
fuel pit, the QST with a TURBO cartridge equipped with a 20 GPM nozzle was put against a traditional in line eductor, low
expansion nozzle with a 3%-6% AR solution at 60 GPM. The result was outstanding with 2.35 seconds for the QST and 4.38
seconds for the traditional set up! Not only have we extinguished it faster but also the QST only used 51 gallons of water
versus 278 gallons.
It is Simple, Quick and Clean for the environment confirmed by the results of the acute toxicity test.
